We believe everyone should have an equal chance of good emotional well-being. Counselling provides the lifelong tools and coping strategies that  can be refered back to when emotional discomfort returns

We can deliver emotional wellbeing support to children and young people to help increase emotional intelligence, normalise and validate emotions and build the resilience needed to manage these emotions

We provide a schools counselling service to children and young people and can deliver assemblies, bespoke workshops and talks to promote resilience and more. We can also provide staff supervision and training.

We can provide a critical incident response, trauma therapy, and deliver an employee wellbeing service including staff counselling and workplace training.

Michael's Story

"My first experience of Beacon Counselling was in 2019. I had been referred to Beacon through my GP. Although I wasn’t sceptical about how counselling could help me, I thought that, as an older man whose trauma had happened 30 years previously, perhaps I had missed the boat"...

I would tell friends to go if they need to as everything is done in steps in a calm environment. It also helps people to learn more about themselves and accept and deal with certain situations"
Farrah, Children services
I was consulted throughout the counselling process to check which strategies were working and reflected on goals frequently. This was so useful. Counselling has made a huge difference in my life."
Sam, Adult Services
As the needs of our students changed, and challenges were raised to meet these needs, Beacon stepped up to adapt the provision in order to allow those students to get the support they needed"
