Counselling and Wellbeing Support

We believe everyone should have an equal chance of good emotional well-being. Counselling provides the lifelong tools and coping strategies that  can be referred back to in the future.

We can deliver emotional wellbeing support to children and young people to help increase emotional intelligence, normalise and validate emotions and build the resilience needed to manage these emotions

We provide a schools counselling service to children and young people and can deliver assemblies, bespoke workshops and talks to promote resilience and more. We can also provide staff supervision and training.

We can provide an employee wellbeing service that includes trauma therapy, staff counselling and workplace training.

Counselling and Wellbeing Support

We take pride in the quality and effectiveness of our services and hold a track record and 40 years' experience of improving the mental health and wellbeing in adults, young people and children.

Counselling is a talking therapy that provides a regular space for you to talk about feelings, worries or concerns. It can help you to consider your needs and priorities, and help you to accept things that cannot be changed. Counselling can also enable you to make decisions and find more effective ways of coping, helping you to deal with and overcome issues that you are struggling with, or are making you feel uncomfortable or sad.

Our counsellors won’t usually give advice, but will help you find your own insights into and understanding of your situation.

We work with you to find the best way for you, and those around you, to achieve a happy, fulfilled life, with resilience to face life’s challenges, and confidence to make empowering life decisions.
We pride ourselves on our robust safeguarding procedures to ensure that every person who accesses our services is protected and kept safe.

Making the Most of Therapy

What to Expect

After registering for an appointment, our appointments team will be in touch to arrange an initial assessment. A counsellor will meet you, work out if counselling is right for you and what you would like to get out of counselling.

Confidentiality

What happens in your counselling sessions is private to you and your counsellor. However, on rare occasions, such as if we are worried about your or someone else’s safety, your counsellor may need to share some information with others.
