Counselling and Wellbeing Support

We believe everyone should have an equal chance of good emotional well-being. Counselling provides the lifelong tools and coping strategies that  can be refered back to when emotional discomfort returns

We can deliver emotional wellbeing support to children and young people to help increase emotional intelligence, normalise and validate emotions and build the resilience needed to manage these emotions

We provide a schools counselling service to children and young people and can deliver assemblies, bespoke workshops and talks to promote resilience and more. We can also provide staff supervision and training.

We can provide a critical incident response, trauma therapy, and deliver an employee wellbeing service including staff counselling and workplace training.

Counselling and Wellbeing Support

We take pride in the quality and effectiveness of our services and hold a track record and 38 years' experience of improving the mental health and wellbeing in adults, young people and childrren.

Counselling is a talking therapy that provides a regular space for you to talk about difficult feelings.

It can also you sort your needs and priorities, and help you to accept things that cannot be changed, enabling you to make decisions and find more effective ways of coping. Counselling can also help you to deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or making you feel uncomfortable or sad.

With help and support, these feelings and symptoms can be managed, guiding you to a successful recovery. Our counsellors won’t usually give advice, instead they will help you find your own insights into and understanding of your problems.

How We Can Help

Our counsellors listen, respect your views, they never judge. They can help you to:

Our Adult counsellors are all qualified to Diploma level or beyond, have substantial experience and skilled in using a diverse range of appropriate therapeutic techniques, allowing for support to be individualised.
We pride ourselves on our robust safeguarding procedures to ensure that every person who accesses our services is protected and kept safe and further conduct a collaborative annual review.

Making the Most of Therapy

You will be able to make the most of your counselling if you spend some time between sessions thinking further about what it is you have talked about

What to Expect

After registering for an appointment, our appointments team will be in touch to arrange an initial assessment. A counsellor will meet you, work out if counselling is right for you and what you would like to get out of counselling.

What happens in your counselling sessions is private to you and your counsellor. However, on rare occasions, your counsellor may need to share some information with others
