We believe everyone deserves the chance to enjoy good mental health.
Counselling provides lifelong tools and strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Our one to one Counselling provides a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions, discover your inner strengths and understand and overcome personal challenges.
While friends and family can be supportive, it’s often valuable to talk with someone outside your everyday life. Our counsellors provide a safe, regular space to explore what matters to you, without judgment or advice, and will work at a pace that gives you time to make the changes you want.
We offer:
- Off Peak Sessions – £50 (before 5pm)
- Peak Sessions – £60 (after 5pm)
We offer a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly with a fully qualified therapist about whatever you’re facing—whether it’s stress, anxiety, low mood, trauma, or a desire for greater emotional wellbeing. With highly skilled, qualified counsellors, flexible in-person or online sessions, and affordable pricing, we provide personalised support designed around your needs.
*We also offer free counselling delivered predominantly by student counsellors, in their final year of study, with some qualified volunteers. This service provides 8 sessions of free counselling to those who live in SK1-8 and meet eligibility criteria. Call us to discuss this as an option.

Couples counselling is a supportive, structured space where partners can strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. With the guidance of a trained therapist, couples learn practical tools to understand each other more deeply, resolve conflicts with clarity and respect, and rebuild trust and closeness.
Whether you’re working through a specific issue or simply want to enhance your relationship, couples counselling offers a positive path toward a more fulfilling, resilient partnership.
EMDR is a highly effective, research-supported therapy designed to help people heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing memories. By using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult experiences, so they feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
Many people who try EMDR experience meaningful relief faster than with traditional talk therapy, making it a powerful, efficient path toward emotional balance and long-term healing.
- EMDR sessions are £70 for those living in Stockport (SK1-8) and £90 per session for those outside Stockport

Making the most of therapy
You will be able to make the most of your counselling if you spend some time between sessions thinking further about what it is you have talked about.
What to expect
After registering for an appointment, our appointments team will be in touch to arrange an initial assessment. A counsellor will meet you, work out if counselling is right for you and what you would like to get out of counselling.
Confidentiality
What happens in your counselling sessions is private to you and your counsellor. However, on rare occasions, such as if we are worried about your or someone else’s safety, your counsellor may need to share some information with others.
